Youth and Politics: The Decline of Party Membership in Moroccan society

Abstract

This study examines the decline of youth membership to political parties in Moroccan society and seeks to understand the reasons for this decreased involvement by focusing on the nature of the relationship between the youth and political parties. Study is based on a qualitative approach, with emphasis on various types of observation and interviews. The study is divided into five parts the social assimilation of young people; youth and the essence of politics; political awareness and party commitment; and finally the political frustration of the youth.
