Professor of Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Petra in Amman, Jordan. He holds a Doctorat d’État from the University of Paris II. He completed his secondary education in Ramallah, Palestine, before joining the Faculty of Law at Alexandria University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law. He then pursued further studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Paris II, obtaining a Master’s degree and a Doctorat d’État in Law in 1971. He has taught at the university level since then, beginning at the Faculty of Law at the University of Algiers, and later at the University of Jordan, Kuwait University, several private universities in Jordan, and ultimately at the Faculty of Law at the University of Petra in Amman. He has also served as a visiting professor at foreign universities. His scholarly output is both highly diverse and prolific. He is a member of the editorial boards of several Arab and international journals.
