The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published the 54nd issue of the bimonthly peer-reviewed political science and international relations journal, Siyasat Arabiya. This issue includes the following articles "On Post-international Politics: Two Coexistent Systems or Neo-medievalism?" by Mohammed Hemchi and Adel Zeggagh; "Memory and Apology in Foreign Policy: When the Past Does not Pass" by Sarah Nasser; "The Sudanese Revolution and Prospects for Democratic Transition" by Eltigani Abdelgadir Hamid; and "The Conflict between Political Streams in the Syrian Military Establishment (1954-1958): Coups, and Political Pluralism" by Ahmed Mamoun. The issue includes a paper on the Arab Opinion Index by Governance Center for Public Policies "The National Indicator for Democratic Transition in Iraq 2017-2021", followed by the documentation of Milestones in Democratic Transition in the Arab World and Palestine over two months, 1/11-31/12/2021, along with select Documents of Democratic Transition in the Arab World. The issue ends with Abdel-Fattah Mady’s report review of “The Global State of Democracy 2021: Building Resilience in a Pandemic Era” by International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance and Said Bakkar’s book review "What is Populism?" by Azmi Bishara.
