​The ACRPS has published the 40th issue of the bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal Siyasat Arabiya, covering political sciences and international relations. This issue includes the study "Populism and the Permanent Crisis of Democracy" by Azmi Bishara and a special report called “US-Gulf International Relations: Realist Approaches”. Other articles include “The New Patterns of US-Gulf Relations and the Crises in the Middle East Under Trump’s Administration” by Anthony H. Cordesman; “Qatari-US Relations: Limits of Compatibility and Differences” by Marwan Kabalan; “The Limitations of US Foreign Policy Towards the Middle East” by Ross Harrison; “Saudi-US Relations and their Transformations: Risks and Probabilities” by Mohamed Elmenshawy; “Security Relations between the United States and the Gulf States: The Evolution of Regional Perspectives in an Age of Uncertainty” by Rory Miller; and “Between Wealth and Power: The Political Economy of US Energy Policy in the Gulf” by Rabah Zaghouni. Also covered in this issue is Arab Opinion Index commentary by Dana El Kurd, who writes about “US Policy in Arab Gulf Opinion: Data from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait”. The Documentation section explores Milestones in Democratic Transition in the Arab World 1/7/2019 - 31/8/2019 and Documents about Democratic Transition in the Arab Region, as well as the regular installment of Palestine Over Two Months 1/5/2019 - 30/6/2019. Finally, Ahmed Qasem Hussein provides a book review of US Policy and International Crisis Management (The Cases of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon) by Abbada Mohammed al-Tamer.
