The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published the 51st issue of the bimonthly peer-reviewed political science and international relations journal, Siyasat Arabiya.

This issue includes the following articles: "Qatar's Policy and Experience in Mediation and Dispute Settlement" by Mutlaq Majed Al Qahtani and Dana Mansoor AL-Thani; "The Centrality of the Eastern Region in Sudan's Peace: Existing Tensions and Prevention of Escalation of Conflict" by Sultan Barakat and Mona Hedaya; "Consociational Democracy in Iraq: Reproducing Ethnic, Religious, and Linguistic Minorities as Political Minorities" by Saleem Suzah; Algeria: Democratic Transition in the Context of Economic Failure" by Nouri Dris; and "The Issue of Causal Link between Political Freedom and Economic Freedom: Evidence from the Arab World" by Brahim El Morchid and El Houcine Chougrani. Also provided is a translation of Paul D. Hutchcroft's "Centralization and Decentralization in Administration and Politics: Assessing Territorial Dimensions of Authority and Power" Aoumria Soltani.

The issue also presents a paper on the Arab Opinion Index by Belkacem Elguettaa, "Algerian Public Confidence in the Military as an Institution (2011-2020)," followed by the documentation of Milestones in Democratic Transition in the Arab World and Palestine over two months, 1/5 - 30/6/2021, along with select Documents of Democratic Transition in the Arab World. The issue ends with Mohamad Tawfik's book review of Understanding Political Islam: Research Trajectories on the Islamic Otherness 1973–2016 by François Burgat.
