The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published the 60th issue of the bimonthly peer-reviewed political science and international relations journal, Siyasat Arabiya.

This issue features five studies in a special issue on the State of Political Science in the Arab World. The articles include an introduction: "Political Science in the Arab World" by the guest editor of this issue Abdelwahab El-Affendi, in addition to "The State of Political Science in Egypt: The Experience of the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science (FEPS), Cairo University" by Marwa Fikry; "Teaching Political Science in Sudanese Universities: Formation and Development" by Hassan Elhagali Ahmed and Yasir Awad Abdalla; "The Crisis Of The Political Science Major In The Algerian University: Paradoxes Of A Six-Decade Leap Since National Independence" by Abdelkader Abdelali, Lubna Jassas, and Qassem Hajjaj; "Transformations of Political Science in the Tunisian University: A Case Study of the Faculty of Law and Political Science" by Chaker Houki; and "The Marginalization of Quantitative Methods in Arab Political Science: Inferential Statistics as an Example" by Abdelkarim Amengay and Alan Aloskan.

The issue also contains the documentation of Milestones in Democratic Transition in the Arab World and Palestine over two months, 1/11-30/12/2022, along with select Documents of Democratic Transition in the Arab World. The issue ends with Ahmed Qasem Hussein's book review of Methodological Issues in Political Science, History, Law, and Demography edited by Morad Diani.
