​The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published the 80th issue of Siyasat Arabiya, a bimonthly peer-reviewed journal of political science and international relations. This issue contains the following articles: “Ethics of Care and International Politics: A Feminist Decolonial Perspective" by Imed Jmei; “Iraqi Authorities and Human Rights Conventions: A Case Study of the Right to Gender Equality" by Mohammed Warmzyar; “Challenges of Volunteer Work in Sudan Amid War: Emergency Response Rooms as a Case Study" by Manara Altayeb and Yusra Abdaullah; “The Impact of Social Media Usage Patterns on Political Efficacy among University Students in Morocco: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach" by Hassane Hjij; and, in the Discussions section, “Risk Politics and the US-Israeli War on Iran: Emotion Governance, Security Mosaic, and Risk Management" by Xueling Cheng. The translation section features “The Populist Zeitgeist" by Cas Mudde, translated by Mohammed Hemchi. The issue also documents key events in the democratic transition in the Arab world and Palestine over the two-month period from 1 March to 30 April 2026. Finally, it features Abdelkader Abdelali's review of the book Making Sense of the Arab State edited by Steven Heydemann & Marc Lynch.​
