Issue 74

The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published the 74th issue of Siyasat Arabiya, a bimonthly peer-reviewed journal of political science and international relations. This special issue, titled “Issues in Politics and Political Thought after the Arab Revolutions", opens with an introduction by the guest editor, Emad Alali. The issue includes the following articles: “Intuitive Knowledge and the Spirit of Revolution", by Mohammed Bamyeh; “Justice and the Crisis of 'Political Theory' in Contemporary Arab Political Thought: The Need for Justification", by Nabil Faziou; “Revolution between Realistic Objectives and Normative Implications: Towards a New Reading of the Arab Revolutions", by Emad Alali; and “On Contemporary Arab Political Discourse: A Study of the Algerian Political Experience from a Social Philosophy Perspective" by Zwawi Beghoura.

The Articles section includes “India-Qatar Relations: Growing yet Stagnant?" by Mohmad Waseem Malla. The translation section includes the article “Artificial Intelligence and Democracy: A Conceptual Framework", by Andreas Jungherr, translated by Abdelkarim Amengay. The issue also documents key developments in the democratic transition in the Arab world and Palestine from 1 March to 30 April 2025. It further features Ahmed Mamoun's review of Antony Loewenstein's “The Palestine Laboratory: How Israel Exports the Technology of Occupation around the World".​
